It all started with a spark…and some sparkles.

Hi there. Let me introduce myself. My name is Traci! I live in NYC, am single, but am owned by two cats, Gibson and Binxley. I moved to NY from Ohio almost 20 years ago (my anniversary is coming up this September).

You will never catch me without something purple on. I’m OBSESSED. (Seriously, ask anyone. They’ll tell you). Only second to purple is my love for glitter and sparkles. I am your classic girly-girl.

My guilty pleasure is Karaoke . I’ve spent many a night closing down karaoke bars, scream-singing at the top of my lungs until I have no voice left!

PR is my full time gig, but after spending more than a year in this new virtual world full of isolation (not so great for an extrovert! I literally THRIVE off of being surrounded by other people!), something was missing.

I’m normally the go to idea-woman. You know - the person you invite to all the brainstorms, who comes up with the most ridiculous ideas, that somehow turn into the keeper? It is one of my absolute favorite things to do!

But, the joy that I once had for that seemed to be dwindling. The ideas were no longer flowing. It was harder and harder to think. I run our mentor program - but it was harder and harder to stay positive and upbeat for my team.

It seemed that all that time without having other people to connect with, to feed off their energy, to bounce ideas off of, was slowing breaking me down. I was retreating inside of myself.

The only thing that would make me smile was the sparkles on my fingers. And sometimes, that is what would get me through the day. I know it seems silly, but when you haven’t washed your hair, you’re sitting there with pj bottoms on, no make-up on, feeling all kinds of schlubby. But you look down at your nails and they’re not only perfectly done, but they’re pretty. They have a fun design. And they make you feel put together. That’s magic.

And so 45 days ago, I took a leap. A leap I NEVER thought I would do. (and trust me, I only did it for the discount.) I hadn’t intended for it to spark this little fire inside of me. To bring back the elation of that creative process... to fill the gap that has been missing by not being able to connect with people IRL by making new connections with women all across the country, and seeing the magic spark joy in them.

So, I’m on a mission...

  • a mission to make self care the norm - not something we whisper or try to sneak in when we can, but something we put first on the list.

  • a mission to re-ignite those creative sparks - the ones that might be buried deep inside that you think are lost. They’re not! I recently just found mine again!

  • a mission to help us get our time back, by sharing all the tips and tricks I’ve learned by working in the PR world for 20 years!

  • a mission to show you magic, and make you believe.

Will you join me in this crazy new adventure?
